Irish Centre for Excellence in Robotic Technology (ICERT) in conjunction with Cobotics Skillnet are delighted to announce the 2023 date for our symposium – which will take place on the 19th April in Mullingar Park Hotel. The theme of this year’s event will be “Industry Automation a process of Continuous Improvement“ . Engage with a panel of experts in the fields of industry automation and continuous improvement to both inspire, and challenge industry to implement automation into their improvement strategies. While delivering competitive advantage over their competitors both national and international.

Our Keynote Speaker, Dennis Dio Parker, Toyota Motor North America, Consultant for Regional Talent Development and founder of the FAME program will discuss ‘What type of workforce does Toyota Motor need to introduce effective and sustainable Industry 4.0 strategies and how this translates to the Irish manufacturing sector.

Dennis has spent the largest part of his career working at Toyota Motor North America for 35 years. His experience spans 42 years in technical, occupational, management/supervisory/leadership and career pathway development in the automotive industry and the nuclear power field. A member of Toyota’s Plant of the Future team for implementing Industry 4.0 in operations in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, he also serves on Toyota’s Global HRD team.
